Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Janet Wakeland

Hi!

Welcome back to another Crazy Crafters Blog Hop.  Today we are joined by the amazing Janet Wakeland.

I've been following Janet's work for a long time so it's very exciting to have the opportunity to hop along with her and CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) one of her designs.

The card I chose to case today is this one.  I love how the embossed background frames and showcases the image.

To create my card, I decided to use the same layout and just change up a few elements.  For my focal image, I used the lavender stamp from the Lots of Lavender photopolymer stamp set.  I stamped this using Tuxedo Black, Sweet Sugarplum, Pear Pizzazz and Crumb Cake inks.

Next up, I created a window and frame using the 2 largest dies from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies and then embossed the cardstock using the Quilt Top Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I then adhered the window panel over the stamped image.

The complete the card, I used the Celebrate You Thinlit Dies to die cut the word 'amazing' from Sweet Sugarplum and Whisper White cardstock which I then layered together to create some depth and make it stand out more.

That's it from me.  Thanks for stopping by.  I'd love to hear from you so please feel free to leave a comment.

And don't forget to check out the rest of the blog hop.  The full lineup is below.  I promise you won't be disappointed!
