Botanicals For You
Today I'm sharing with you some pretty simple cards I made using the Stampin' Up! Botanicals For You stamp set. This set is from the C catalog and I just love the big bold sentiment.
I used Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Mint Macaron to create the background, which was stamped using the Watercolor Wash stamp. To make the sentiment really stand out, I used Basic Black ink and then applied Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder.
I decided to mix it up a bit and used different embellishments on each card: Crushed Curry enamel dots on one, the smallest flower from the Botanicals For You set with some rhinestones on another, and the Hearts Border Punch to create little hearts which I then covered in Dazzling Details for a bit of bling.
I really enjoyed making these cards as they were super quick and easy, which is great for someone who's time poor like me. Even better though is that they can be jazzed up quite easily at a later date.

What I Love and Rose Wonder
Hi, thanks for stopping by.
This is my first attempt at blogging so please bear with me as I learn all the tips and tricks to hopefully turn this into a fun and creative blog.
So, welcome and let me introduce you to the card I've chosen to share with you today. The card was created using the What I Love and Rose Wonder stamp sets from Stampin' Up!. I love the effect you can achieve with the What I Love set, especially when using all 3 of the stamps.

To stamp the flowers I used 2 colours: Blushing Bride and Melon Mambo. Blushing Bride was used for the base, Melon Mambo (stamped-off) for the 2nd layer and Melon Mambo again for the outline of the flower. The leaves were stamped in Wild Wasabi.
I finished the card off with a sentiment from the Rose Wonder stamp set, 2 thin strips of cardstock which I inked with Wild Wasabi, and some clear Wink of Stella on the flowers.
Hope you enjoyed visiting my blog. Feel free to leave a comment.
