Watercolour Roses

Welcome back for another Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlight.  My awesome upline, Kylie Bertucci, is hosting this event every Friday on her blog so head on over here to check out the projects created by the team this week and to vote on your favourite.

This event is also being opened up to everyone on 11 March 2016, so if you'd like the opportunity to participate, visit Kylie's blog and register your interest.

Lately, I've been playing around with watercolouring and these cards are the result.

I love pink and grey so to create the background I used Melon Mambo and Smokey Slate ink by Stampin' Up!.  I then die cut the large rose from the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies and attached the card front to some Basic Black and Melon Mambo cardstock.

I chose to use sentiments from the Birthday Blooms and Watercolour Wishes Stamp Sets which I heat embossed using White Emboss PowderI absolutely love the font on these sets and they look spectacular when heat embossed.

This week I
thought I'd also participate in a few challenges so I have submitted the cards in:

Fusion Card Challenge {Pretty in Pink}

   Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge (#36 - Card Maker's Choice)
 SIP Challenge 36 - Card Maker's Choice 800
Thanks for stopping by!
