Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Dena Rekow

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Dena Rekow.  I am so excited that we get to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) Dena Rekow.  I absolutely love her cards and her videos are awesome.

It was really tough deciding which project to case, there are so many fabulous projects to inspire you, but I finally decided on these split cards.

I'm one of those people that hoard their designer paper, so when I saw these split cards, I knew it'd be the perfect opportunity for me to cut up some of my paper and actually use it!  Stampin' Up! make it so easy too by coordinating their specialty paper and stamp sets.  How much easier can it get!

For my card, I decided to keep the design the same and use the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper and matching Birthday Blooms Stamp Set.

I stamped the flower and then coloured it in with Mint Macaron and Blushing Bride markers before cutting it out with the Tags & Labels Framelits.  I also stamped the flower on the inside of the card.  The card base is Mint Macaron.

I had so much fun making this card, that I couldn't stop at just one!  For the other cards I used Watermelon Wonder and Pool Party cardstock.  The flower on the Watermelon Wonder card was coloured in using Mossy Meadow and Watermelon Wonder markers.  I left the sentiment off these two cards so I can use them at a later date.

Thanks so much for hopping with us.  Please check out the list below to see who's next up in this awesome blog hop.
