Welcome back for another Crazy Crafters Team Highlight.
This week I decided to try out a technique I saw over on Jennifer McGuire Ink called White Pencil Highlighting.
This technique can be used with any outline image and the flower from Stampin' Up!'s Birthday Blooms stamp set is just perfect for this.
As the white pencil highlighting stands out better on dark or bold cardstock, I decided to use Cherry Cobbler as my cardfront. I stamped the flower onto the cardfront using Whisper White Craft Ink and let it dry. Then using a white pencil, I traced the outline of the stamp and then faded the colour out.
To complete the card, I used a sentiment from the Fabulous Four stamp set and heat embossed it in white.
Thanks for stopping by. Make sure you stop over at Kylie Bertucci's page (after 6:30pm (AEST), Friday 15 April 2016) and vote on your favourites!
I have also entered this card in the Global Design Project Challenge #031 | Theme Challenge
